“We went to a PSU game and a friend referred us to this little gem. The staff was very friendly and were there to support anything we needed.”

The gracious quiet and the deep comfort of our stay at the Carnegie Inn exceeded any we experienced during our drive across the USA. The beautiful huge bath, the traditional decor in a spacious room, the view of green golf links, and the courtesy of staff gave pleasure.

My expectations for a much needed get-away to refresh my body and soul were met and exceeded by my experience at the Carnegie house. From the moment I walked into the lobby and was enveloped with the warmth of the furnishings and the calming music, I knew I was in the right place. Being accompanied to my room, in which I immediately felt at home, was a nice touch for a woman arriving alone. Just steps outside my door was the wonderful dining room offering delicious made to order breakfast with a presentation almost too beautiful to consume. Every encounter with staff was positive

“This is our favorite location to stay for a weekend in State College.”

We recently sold our home in state college and stay multiple times at Carnegie House because of the excellent staff, cleanliness and location. Heather and Cheryl are two of this establishments greatest assets! Cheryl thank you for your warm smile and positive demeanor and Heather thank you for going beyond our expectations and providing the best service we’ve ever had.
